Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist II

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team on the weekend shift at a top healthcare facility in North Carolina.

Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist II performs routine and specialized laboratory tests and procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Utilizing requisite equipment, instruments, and computer systems, the successful candidate will evaluate and report patient results using considerable independent judgment within the scope of established testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and procedures
  • Evaluate and report patient results using independent judgment
  • Utilize equipment, instruments, and computer systems
  • Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and instrumentation
  • Train new employees and/or students in laboratory procedures
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in clinical laboratory with moderate and high complexity testing preferred
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology required
  • ASCP or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification preferred
