Job Description

Robert D Gilmore & Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our transportation engineering group, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including permit applications and inspections.
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and implement transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and traffic signals.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering college or university.
  • Experience: 0-10+ years of experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and traffic engineering.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Synchro, and HCM software; experience with PennDOT ECMS document uploading and maneuvering within ECMS.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
