Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II - Special Procedures to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs for interventional studies, assisting with sterile setup, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Services
    • Produce high-quality radiographs for all interventional studies
    • Assist with sterile setup and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
  • Patient Care
    • Review patient history for patient's condition and take precautions to check for possible adverse reactions
    • Follow safety steps required to perform duties and follow medical, state, and federal safety standards
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Obtain and record all patient data as required by the medical center, state, JCAHO, or other agencies
    • Ensure proper charging of all procedures, coding, and modifiers are correct
  • Inventory Management
    • Demonstrate knowledge and ability of inventory status and control
    • Rotate stock, maintain, and ensure an adequate quantity
  • Coding and Compliance
    • Demonstrate knowledge of ICD and CPT codes
  • Education and Credentials
    • Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology
    • ARRT(R)(CV) or ARRT(R)(VI) registered
    • Current CPR certification
  • State Licensure
    • Kentucky: KBMIRT Radiation Operators License (Radiography)
    • Indiana: Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License - Radiologic Technologist
  • Specialized Knowledge
    • Excellent understanding of radiation protection and sterile technique

  • Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT(R)(CV) or ARRT(R)(VI) registered
