Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Consumer Specialist-Retail to join our team at TDS Telecom. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling services, and resolving customer issues in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers in person and over the phone, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell services to customers, promoting additional services and upselling existing customers to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Responsible for resolving complex customer issues, working with other teams to ensure long-term solutions and prevent future issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with promotions, products, and processes necessary to meet or exceed performance metrics.
  • Perform retail office responsibilities, including restocking supplies, maintaining office cleanliness, and participating in community events.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role.
  • 2+ years of computer experience, including order applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, or Excel.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals and demonstrate strong negotiation, selling, and closing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Possess a strong sense of customer focus and decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls in a structured, contact center environment.
