Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio developer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As an Ab Initio developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex data integration solutions using the Ab Initio software suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Ab Initio graphs for data integration and ETL processes
  • Develop and maintain metadata models using Metadata Hub
  • Integrate Ab Initio with various data sources, including Oracle, Snowflake, Hadoop, and Hive
  • Optimize Ab Initio code for performance and scalability
  • Develop and implement data acquisition and transformation requirements in a data lake or warehouse environment
  • Build and maintain Control Center jobs and schedules for process orchestration
  • Develop BRE rulesets for reformat, rollup, and validation use cases
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Ab Initio graphs
  • Ensure high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines for Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI-CD)
Requirements
  • 6+ years of ETL design and development experience using Ab Initio
  • 2+ years of data integration project experience on Hadoop Platform, preferably Cloudera
  • Experience with Ab Initio EME, GDE, parallelism techniques, and Graphs using Data
  • Ability to design and build Ab Initio graphs and Conduct> it Plans
  • Complete understanding of Metadata Hub metamodel
  • Excellent SQL, UNIX shell scripting, and performance tuning skills
  • Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall Development practices
  • Ability to work independently and support other junior developers as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some Java development experience
  • Knowledge of Ab Initio best practices and new features
