Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst

Strategic Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing functional support to end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of our PeopleSoft HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day functional support to end-users on core HR functionality, including Position Management, Job configuration, HR transactions, and mass updates.
  • Take ownership of functional issues by identifying underlying problems, analyzing potential solutions, and implementing system resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain functional design documents and work with senior system analysts to develop system enhancements or resolutions to system issues.
  • Own the testing processes, including development of test plans, test cases, scenarios, and results documentation.
  • Work with senior system analysts and division supervisors to continuously improve operational policies, practices, procedures, and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of PS HCM 9.2 modules functionality and architecture.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft general architecture, development environment, tools, and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of business system modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
  • Knowledge of Core HR functionality, including Fluid ESS, MSS.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM data and data flows.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Security.
  • Knowledge of Gideon Taylor eForms Framework (optional).
  • Knowledge of the technical documentation process.
  • Knowledge of both Manual and Automated Testing.
  • Knowledge of structured test methods and processes.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and/or SAS Controls.
  • Knowledge of project management processes, procedures, and techniques, including scoping, design, implementation planning, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of process reengineering and improvement techniques.
  • Knowledge of PS reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Application (optional).
Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Three (3) years' experience in a computer-related industry and experience in the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Analysis, End-user training, Report/PS Query Writing, PS HCM Modules version 9.2 implementation and/or upgrade experience or end-user support.
