Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation as directed by the Dining Services Director or Cook, following daily menus and participating in special events.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Properly store food to maintain hygiene standards.
- Participate in food service during meal times.
- Clear tables during and after dining services.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, appliances, floors, and storage areas as per the cleaning schedule.
- Keep the dining area tidy: vacuum floors and clean tables after each meal.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation is preferred.
- A willingness to learn and contribute.
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- A genuine enjoyment of working with older adults.
- Maintaining a neat appearance and adhering to hygiene standards is essential.
