Position Overview:

As an Artisan Pastry Specialist at WaterStreet, you will play a vital role in the creation of a diverse range of baked delicacies. Your expertise will contribute to the production of various items including breads, cakes, pastries, and more. Precision in following recipes is essential to ensure a consistent and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Participating in daily production briefings
  • Preparing and sanitizing all baking tools and equipment
  • Measuring and combining ingredients accurately for production
  • Collaborating with team members or working independently to execute recipes
  • Operating industrial baking machinery to enhance production efficiency
  • Handling hot and potentially hazardous materials with utmost care
  • Ensuring proper storage and packaging of all baked goods
  • Adhering to all Health, Sanitation, and Safety regulations
  • Providing customer service and managing basic financial transactions

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
  • A solid understanding of both Metric and Imperial measurement systems
  • The ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions accurately
  • A commitment to safety practices around hot and hazardous materials
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety dress codes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The capability to stand for extended periods, exceeding 10 hours
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
  • A willingness to undergo a drug screening process
