About the Role

GlossGenius is seeking a seasoned product manager to drive innovation in our payment infrastructure and checkout features. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing and scaling our payment architecture, managing the integration of hardware solutions, and expanding our fintech revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize and scale GlossGenius' payment architecture to ensure seamless and secure transactions across all platforms.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware solutions with payment systems and manage vendor relationships for efficient supply chain operations.
  • Drive growth and integration of fintech offerings such as GeniusLoans, Instant Payouts, and Issuing to enhance revenue.
  • Implement and enhance fraud prevention and security measures to protect transactions and user data.
  • Work with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of product initiatives and manage the product roadmap.
  • Track and analyze payment system performance, providing regular updates on project progress and key metrics.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a product-related role with a focus on payment systems, fintech, or related areas.
  • Proven track record of leading innovation in payment infrastructure and scaling financial services products.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and expand fintech revenue streams and integrate new financial services.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive complex projects to completion.
  • Technical fluency; comfortable discussing technology concepts with engineering counterparts.
  • Passion for empowering small business owners to be successful; possess a high level of empathy for our customers and a strong desire to deeply understand their needs.

The starting base salary for this role in New York and California is between $180,000-$230,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
