Supply Chain Distribution Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Distribution Technician to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of medical supplies and equipment throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Pick up return items and perform daily par cart inventories to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Pick orders, confirm orders, and deliver supplies to assigned par areas in a timely manner.
- Establish effective relationships with clinicians in assigned areas to ensure collaboration between clinical departments and supply chain.
- Create requisitions for non-stock supplies as needed in assigned par areas.
- Ensure par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked to meet customer needs.
- Properly disburse all materials to various locations in the facility as assigned, following established routes and schedules.
- Maintain warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
- Accurately complete the replenishment/picking process, completing all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Deliver supplies and packages to customers, taking care to obtain location delivery information.
- Maintain conversion items and substitutes, communicating with clinical and departmental staff.
- Assist with updating item locations and labels associated with product conversions.
- Participate in design or maintenance of par location item layout.
- High School Diploma or GED or 1-year work experience.
- Possesses basic math skills.
- Pays attention to detail.
- Communicates clearly and effectively in English.
- Has computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Can identify, sort, and count accurately.
- 6 months in supply chain.
- 6 months in customer service setting.
- Peoplesoft experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use an ERP system.
- Understands medical terminology and products.
- Demonstrates knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment, and par level concepts.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
