Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients by collecting blood specimens and processing laboratory specimens for clinical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect Blood Specimens: Properly identify patients and perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods.
  • Process Laboratory Specimens: Label all specimens following laboratory policy and receive/cancel/orders and process laboratory/microbiology specimens.
  • Provide Patient Information: Provide patient information to the appropriate caregiver.
Work Environment:

As a Phlebotomist at Trinity Health Of New England, you will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, including days, occasional evenings, weekends, and rotating holidays.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Certification: National Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a blood draw station, ambulatory care, or acute care setting.
