Job Title: Assembly Operator

About the Job:

We are seeking an Assembly Operator to join our production team at Builders FirstSource. As an Assembly Operator, you will play a vital role in manufacturing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Tend machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, work in a team environment, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
Work Environment / Physical Activity:

This role requires standing for long periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
