About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at AdventHealth Porter. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic cardiac procedures and maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate and thorough echocardiograms as ordered by physicians.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration of machines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
