Job Title: Fine Dining Runner

At Breva, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fine Dining Runner to join our team. As a key member of our service staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests by ensuring the timely and accurate presentation of food and beverages.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to the appropriate table with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff to understand the status of each order and ensure seamless service.
  • Prioritize hot or time-sensitive items to maintain their temperature and quality, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
  • Verify special requests, dietary restrictions, and communicate them to the kitchen staff to ensure accurate preparation and presentation.
  • Support servers when needed, such as refilling water or clearing empty plates, to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Keep the expo area and service stations clean and organized, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables, ensuring a clean and organized dining area for our guests.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the kitchen, servers, and other restaurant staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Relay important information, such as delays or changes in orders, promptly to our guests and staff.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Address any guest concerns or inquiries related to the food being served, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Handle multiple orders simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency, ensuring timely service and a high-quality dining experience.
  • Assist in managing peak dining hours and ensuring timely service, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes to uphold the restaurant's standards, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to the kitchen or management for resolution, maintaining a high level of accountability and professionalism.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols, adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and health regulations.
  • Customer-centric approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a high-demand and fast-paced work environment.
