We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Critical Care team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care or a related field preferred.
- Advanced life support certifications (e.g. PALS, ACLS) preferred.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment with a team of experienced professionals.
