Healthcare Assistant Leader Opportunity

Griffiths Prince & Associates is seeking a Healthcare Assistant Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to our assisted living residents.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of caregivers in providing personal care assistance to residents, including lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Safely transfer residents into and out of beds, wheelchairs, bathtubs, and lifts, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Support and encourage resident participation in activities designed to promote physical health and emotional well-being.
  • Foster social interaction by involving residents in meaningful activities with family, friends, and staff.
  • Monitor residents for changes in physical or emotional condition and report observations to supervisory staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities in Microsoft Office Suite, Netsmart MyUnity, and other relevant systems.
  • Respond promptly to Rythmos call light system alerts and provide assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
  • Eligibility for certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Alaska.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Netsmart MyUnity software.
  • Ability to safely operate and use equipment such as Arjo lifts, electric beds, and Arjo tubs.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
