Physical Therapy Assistant Professional

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Sentara Healthcare. As a key member of our Outpatient Therapy Centers, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Your duties will include developing treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, and documenting progress within the scope of established plans. Additionally, you will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, as well as supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. You will also need to hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant License in the state where you will be working.
