Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis to join our team at NBCUniversal. This is a key role that will be responsible for performing financial statement analysis, preparing quarterly balance sheet reporting packages, and supporting the Comcast SEC reporting team in all aspects of quarterly and annual SEC filings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Analysis: Perform financial statement analysis on a quarterly and annual basis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reporting and Filings: Prepare quarterly balance sheet reporting packages for NBCU finance leadership and Comcast, and support the Comcast SEC reporting team in all aspects of quarterly and annual SEC filings.
  • Financial Information Management: Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial information underlying the financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Drive initiatives that identify process improvement opportunities and build efficiencies into existing reporting routines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with NBCU business controllership teams, FP&A teams, and finance leadership to gather and support information necessary to address new accounting standard implementations, and contribute in developing responses to standard and ad-hoc inquiries and requests.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP knowledge.
  • Desired Characteristics: Excellent oral and written communication skills, project management skills, and a solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC accounting and disclosure standards.
