Senior Accounting Professional

This position has been segmented as Hybrid, meaning there is a combination of three onsite days per week and the rest remote. The expected pay is between $50,000 and $80,000 per year, with typical pay closer to $60,000 - $65,000.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare month-end journal entries and complete general ledger account analysis.
Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules (profit & loss, balance sheet).
Prepare 10K and 10Q and earnings release tie outs.
Prepare internal reporting materials provided to executive leadership.
Compile and provide audit support as requested by internal and external auditors.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Assist manager with the account reconciliation system (Blackline) administration support.
Support SOX compliance processes.
Maintain journal entry closing checklist and ensure required documentation exists to support all journal entries, calculations and account reconciliations.
Assist manager with the PeopleSoft super user role for the general ledger system.
Assist with projects, research and system related tasks as assigned.
Develop end-to-end process and business knowledge of assigned area
Skilled at demonstrating the values and behaviors of the Company Cultural Beliefs
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related analytical field required (or related experience)
MA/MBA preferred
Job relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CPA)
2 years of relevant work experience required (in role or similar role)
Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Compensation
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $50,000 and $80,000 per year. This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus opportunities. Benefits for this role may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
