About the Role

As a Maintenance and Facilities Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including common areas, offices, and equipment rooms;
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and lubricating door hinges;
  • Responding to work orders and completing repairs in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and colleagues, ensuring a positive experience in our facilities;
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems;
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies, techniques, and best practices in maintenance and facilities management.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, including knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset;
  • Minimum one year of experience in maintenance and facilities management, preferably in a residential setting;
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction principles;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders regularly.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring regular hours, with flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols when working with hazardous materials or equipment.
