Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Porter/Lot Attendant to maintain a safe and clean retail environment. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including shower areas, restrooms, floors, and the large truck parking lot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean retail environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Clean and sanitize shower areas, restrooms, floors, and the large truck parking lot to ensure a clean and healthy environment for customers and employees.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a well-stocked inventory of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns or issues.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
