Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at RWJBarnabas Health.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Active and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
