Levin Furniture and Mattress is seeking a skilled Delivery Helper to join our team in Smithton, PA. As a Delivery Helper, you will be responsible for delivering home furnishings and appliances to customers in a safe and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise, verifying sales orders, and communicating with internal and external personnel. If you have a valid driver's license and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Our company offers a competitive hourly rate of $18, plus up to $1000 bonus each pay. We also offer great benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401k, and PTO. * Load and unload merchandise from trucks and store locations
* Verify sales orders and customer information
* Communicate with internal and external personnel
* Practice safe and secure material handling methods
* Operate manual and mechanical equipment
* Perform delivery duties at various store locations

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous furniture or appliance moving experience preferred
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons weighing approximately lbs. repetitively
* Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
* Basic reading and comprehension skills
* Basic numerical reasoning skills

Work Environment:

* Residential, retail, and warehouse environment

Work Schedule:

* Tuesday-Saturday
* 6:00am until completion of your deliveries
