We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Crisis Support Homes team. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing activities and providing guidance to our team members.
Key Responsibilities- Nursing Oversight: Provide nursing supervision to our Crisis Support Homes in Hampton and/or Floyd Counties.
- Leadership Role: Directly supervise Lead LPNs, manage their performance, and provide training and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to provide supervision and support to Lead nurses, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Co-facilitate Quarterly Staff Meetings and Admissions/Discharge Planning meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Documentation and Compliance: Review and sign off on LPN notes, ensuring accurate and complete documentation, and review MARS and other nursing documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Crisis Management: Be on call for staffing crisis home as the need arises, ensuring that our services are always available to those who need them.
- Psychiatry Review: Contact doctors as needed to report, clarify, or discuss issues, review doctors' orders, and assist staff with medication issues.
- Quality Improvement: Serve on the CQI committee to identify areas for improvement and develop measures to promote quality care.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison when MCT requires nursing consultation to meet the needs of individuals in the community.
- Record Review: Review and audit records to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Health Education: Provide health-related education trainings to staff to meet the needs of individuals receiving our services.
- Collaboration with Director: Collaborate with the Director of Crisis Support Services to ensure that our services are managed well and run efficiently, in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations.
- Consultation with Director of Nursing: Consult with the Director of Nursing on a routine basis to discuss and resolve current issues.
