Product Manager, Live Discovery Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the development of our Live Discovery experience on Netflix. As a key member of our Live product team, you will be responsible for building and executing a strategic roadmap for Live Discovery, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Live Discovery, aligning with Netflix's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product designers to design and implement innovative algorithms and features that drive user engagement and retention.
  • Work closely with the Live product team to ensure a cohesive and seamless user experience across all Live features.
  • Partner with consumer insights and design teams to deeply understand member needs and preferences, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including data scientists, engineers, and product designers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing consumer products leveraging machine learning (e.g. recommendation systems) with a proven record of prioritizing and successfully launching impactful products or platforms.
  • Experience working on live streaming products at scale, and a good understanding of the live production cycle.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience working effectively with data scientists, machine learning engineers, product design teams and consumer insights.
  • Proven ability to map algorithmic solutions to product problems with demonstrated impact on business metrics through AB testing.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to partner with different functions to ensure that your solutions drive real business impact.
