About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Zamboni Operator to join our Arena Operations team at Connecticut College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the ice surface is safe and well-maintained during hockey games and practices.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, demonstrated ability to operate a Zamboni machine, and experience running and maintaining a Zamboni machine. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, wear proper safety equipment, and ensure all work processes comply with OSHA requirements/regulations and college policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

- Operate the Zamboni machine to maintain ice conditions
- Maintain the ice surface; proactively seek potential ice surface problems and take appropriate measures to rectify any issues
- Maintain the Zamboni machine; empty ice debris after use and keep it ready for use at all times
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

Benefits
