Position Overview:

The main objective of this role is to execute various laundry tasks to ensure the facility remains clean and orderly, including the collection and laundering of linens, garments, and other washable items.


Responsibilities:

  • Gather soiled linens from various areas, sort, wash, dry, and neatly fold them.
  • Iron linens as required.
  • Distribute freshly laundered linens to departments according to the established schedule.
  • Wash, dry, and repair residents' personal clothing as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all infection control and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist in the movement of laundry containers and clean linen carts.
  • Operate both commercial and residential laundry machines.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen inventory.
  • Ensure that laundry equipment and areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Prior laundry experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform essential job functions.

Salary Range: $16 - $16.50/hr*

*This salary range reflects what Rialto Healthcare reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors such as experience, education, and qualifications.
