Job Overview

The Maintenance Engineering Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that production machinery operates efficiently. The supervisor is responsible for managing part inventories and orchestrating machinery overhauls as needed, while also documenting all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes and efficiencies within the maintenance operations.
  • Plan and oversee the installation of new technologies and equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal environmental regulations regarding air emissions, hazardous waste, and other relevant areas.
  • Develop and manage equipment purchases in line with manufacturing standards and performance metrics.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with corporate engineering teams to enhance process equipment and control systems.
  • Develop capacity models for production lines to align capital investments with operational needs.
  • Formulate work instructions and training programs for new or upgraded processes to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Monitor facility power distribution systems to guarantee safe and efficient operations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
