We are currently seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to provide analytical support for our Fire and Fabrication and Waterworks divisions. This position will deliver data-driven insights and assist the Finance team and Executive leadership in these areas.
Location:
This role is available for remote work or from our corporate offices, aligning with company policy. Ideal candidates would be located on the East Coast, where leadership for these divisions is based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and enhance ad hoc analyses, financial models, and business cases to adapt to a dynamic business landscape.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis, forecasts, and insights to support decision-making and communicate results to business leaders and finance management.
- Conduct detailed margin analysis at customer, product, and channel levels.
- Analyze components influencing margin, including volume, pricing, and costs.
- Assist in the month-end reporting process for business leaders.
- Review P&L results, including sales, margin, and operating expenses.
- Update forecasts and identify unseen factors affecting projections.
- Offer financial justification for proposed investments and assess their potential impact on overall financial performance.
- Identify opportunities for effective expense management in collaboration with sales.
- Support data requirements for both business and finance leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in a FP&A role is preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in the finance sector.
- Industry knowledge in Fire and Fabrication and Waterworks is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft O365, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and modeling capabilities, with comfort in integrating multiple data sources.
- Effective communicator, able to present to all levels of leadership.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Self-management skills to handle schedules, work locations, and competing priorities effectively.
Pay Range:
$5, $9,075.00
Estimated ranges are displayed monthly for salaried roles or hourly for other positions.
This position is eligible for bonus or incentive plans.
