Job Summary

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a part-time instructor to join our Allied Health & Nursing department. As a part-time faculty member, you will play a vital role in supporting the advancement of our college's visions, missions, and values.

Responsibilities
  • Teach respiratory therapy courses to students
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students
  • Provide student advising and support
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of experience in respiratory therapy, or
  • Associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in respiratory therapy, or
  • The equivalent
Working Conditions

Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subjects taught.

Benefits

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District offers an optional part-time faculty benefits program and membership in the State Teachers' Retirement System (STRS) or the Pension Eligible Alternative Retirement (PEAR) Plan.
