Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Inspect and maintain all aspects of our properties, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to keep our properties running smoothly.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Work closely with the Property Manager to coordinate schedules and assignments, ensuring that we are always covered for routine maintenance and emergencies.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring that we stay within budget while delivering top-notch service.
- Resident Relations: Provide excellent customer service to our residents, responding to their maintenance requests and ensuring that their concerns are addressed promptly.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience: At least five years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a residential property management setting.
- Certifications: CPO certification required; CFC Type I & Type II certification required; CFC Universal certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of heat pump, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, appliance repair, and carpentry. Excellent organizational and mechanical skills, with the ability to maintain an inventory system.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work evenings and weekends, with frequent movement around the properties to coordinate work. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation.
