Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor a vehicle-sized robotic system.
- Conduct in-field data collection multiple nights each week.
- Receive training from experienced field automation technicians to ensure confidence in operating the robotic platform.
- Document and log all field data accurately in our online database.
- Monitor the robot's performance during treatments, troubleshoot any operational issues, and propose enhancements when applicable.
This role allows you to contribute significantly to our enthusiastic company while working with cutting-edge agricultural technology and gaining valuable engineering experience in a vibrant startup setting.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written abilities.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Quick problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail for maintaining accurate field logs.
