About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN - ICU Nurse to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and other data to identify potential complications and take appropriate action.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Current National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting.
