Job Summary

The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services in the Radiology Department. This includes ensuring that exams are performed in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner, in compliance with established standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of imaging technologists and other staff members in the Radiology Department.
  • Ensure that imaging exams are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of imaging services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Provide training and education to staff members on new procedures and technologies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of departmental funds.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a radiology or imaging department.
  • Certification in two imaging modalities (e.g. CT, MRI, X-ray).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
