Job Summary

The Multimodality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services in the Radiology Department. This includes ensuring timely and accurate exams, patient preparation, and compliance with established standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery and quality of imaging services, including CT and X-Ray exams
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, supplies, and resources are available to perform exams and clinical services
  • Schedule, monitor, evaluate, and modify staffing patterns to meet clinical demands
  • Interview, counsel, and complete performance evaluations for staff members
  • Train new staff and ensure all registrations and certifications are current and up-to-date
  • Partner with management to conduct multidisciplinary staff meetings and ensure consistent communication throughout the department
  • Facilitate goal setting for staff and monitor progress towards achieving goals
  • Encourage employee participation in employee satisfaction surveys and patient safety initiatives
  • Develop and implement plans to address areas of improvement
  • Partner with management to develop and manage department budgets, including equipment and service needs
  • Promote a culture of service excellence and patient-centeredness in the imaging department
  • Act as a liaison between Radiology and other departments to gather and exchange information and develop solutions to problems
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program
  • 3 years of experience in radiology or a related field
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities
