The Army National Guard is seeking a skilled Battlefield Operations Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Infantry, you will be responsible for planning and executing combat operations in various environments.

Estimated Salary: $200 - $250 per drill weekend, subject to change, with potential for bonuses.

Job Description:

Company Overview: The Army National Guard is a part-time military organization that provides training and experience in a variety of fields, including combat operations. As a Battlefield Operations Specialist, you will be part of a team that is responsible for planning and executing combat operations in various environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reconnaissance operations to gather intelligence on enemy positions and movements.
  • Employ, fire, and recover anti-personnel and anti-tank mines to clear paths and protect friendly forces.
  • Operate weapon systems under various conditions, including engaging targets using night vision sights.
  • Perform as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions.
  • Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry to support combat operations.
  • Use, maintain, and store combat weapons, including rifles, machine guns, and anti-tank mines.

Requirements:

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
  • Must meet citizenship requirements.

Training and Experience:

As a Battlefield Operations Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will receive training and experience in a variety of fields, including combat operations.
