RF Calibration Specialist

The RF Calibration Technician plays a crucial role in delivering calibration services for test equipment, focusing primarily on RF and electrical metrology.

• Conducts customer support activities, both on-site and in-house, ensuring the calibration and certification of RF test and measurement equipment using various automated calibration systems.
• Engages directly with clients to address their calibration needs.
• Adheres to established protocols during the repair and calibration processes to maintain high performance standards.
• Diagnoses and resolves equipment malfunctions effectively.
• Acts as a representative of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction with equipment and services provided.
• Performs additional duties as required.

• Military training or experience in PMEL, TMDE, or Electronics; OR an Associate's Degree in Electronics (or a related technical field); OR equivalent work experience and training.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in calibration.
• Proficient in calibrating various types of test and measurement equipment, including:
• Electronics
• RF Microwave
• Temperature
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), internet research, and data entry.
• Experience in providing courteous and professional customer service.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with ANSI/NCSL Z-540-1, ISO 9000, and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Experience with calibration lab software such as LabView, SureCal, Met/Cal, etc.
