Avera is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identifying physical and psychosocial needs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Plan and prioritize the delivery of nursing care, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Evaluate patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, documenting and reporting as necessary.
- Develop and implement patient education and discharge planning strategies.
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting criteria.
- Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, PALS, TCAR, and TNCC, or completion upon next available program.
Three, 12-hour shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am. Every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation required on Med Surg.
CompensationThe hourly range for this position is $46.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
