Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team at Inspired Home Care. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide physical therapy services under the direction of the Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of care.
- Follow all privacy policies and maintain the confidentiality of protected healthcare information (PHI).
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
- Direct and aid patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
- Utilize physical agents, including heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage.
- Observe and report to the Physical Therapist and Organization personnel the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in patient's condition.
- Instruct patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.
- Maintain necessary records, including clinical notes and conference notes, which will be incorporated into the patient's clinical record in prescribed time frames.
- Participate in Organization Home Care Team Members meetings and Organization In-service Education Program.
