Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at ATC Largo. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities- Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist in teaching exercise programs to patients and families.
- Document patient care accurately and completely.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises as directed.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
- Licensure or registration, if applicable in the state of practice.
- At least one year of PTA experience in the clinical setting.
- Current CPR certification and other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.
