The Cashier and Stock Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail environment. This position requires adherence to company policies and management directives while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with management instructions and company policies.
  • Prioritize customer needs and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Report any discrepancies in sales, cash handling, or operations to store management.
  • Complete shift-change reports and minimize errors in cash handling.
  • Accurately process all pricing adjustments, including markups and markdowns.
  • Notify management of any issues affecting store performance, including maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain fully stocked coolers and merchandise displays at all times.
  • Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs as necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment, floors, and restrooms.
  • Keep the register area organized and free of personal items.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Utilize up-selling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to obtain a TAM and Health Card.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
