About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Associate to join our team at Rivendell Behavioral Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise patients on and off the unit, monitoring their behavior and vital signs, and recording observations.
  • Document patient behavior, vital signs, special treatment procedures, progressive interventions, and food intake.
  • Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and provide updates.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school education or GED.
  • Previous mental health experience is preferred but not required.
  • CPR/First Aid and Handle with Care certificates are required (offered upon hire).
