Job Summary

As a Construction Management Associate at Redwood Trust, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the financing needs of our investors to ensure the successful completion of their projects. This position requires strong analytical and administrative skills, as well as excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with originators and deal team members to evaluate the feasibility of requested rehabilitation and construction projects.
  • Review draw requests, supporting documentation, and inspection reports to verify that corresponding work has been completed.
  • Interface with borrowers to compile required information and resolve draw-related issues.
  • Manage transactions and work closely with third-party vendors to ensure proper draw request procedures are followed.
  • Daily phone and email interaction with customers is required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple transactions in a fast-paced deal environment.
  • Provide exceptional and proactive customer support.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as necessary.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment to complete work assignments.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of commercial lending or construction management experience required.
  • Some experience in real estate, finance, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Superior attention to detail, analytical, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some in-person interaction with customers required.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $65K - $70K annually. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure, and certification, and other factors.
