Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ER Nurse to join our team at Mountain View Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will deliver exceptional patient care in our fast-paced emergency room, treating patients of all ages and managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually
  • Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
  • Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
  • Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient-focused and safety-aware at all times
Requirements
  • Current/Previous Emergency Room experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Utah Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN license in good standing
  • Associate Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 7 days of employment start date
