We are currently seeking a Senior Automotive Technician who will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and effectively, while adhering to industry standards and company policies.

Compensation: $50,000 to $80,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $1500, with half paid after 30 days and the remainder after 90 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose vehicle issues based on certifications and experience.
  • Perform tasks outlined in the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with precision.
  • Handle complex and heavy-duty repairs.
  • Communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-technical individuals, including management and customers.
  • Recommend essential services to maintain vehicle performance, documenting all suggestions in customer files.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, and undertake additional duties as assigned.
  • Follow company policies and core values as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required.
  • ASE certifications may substitute for experience.
  • Proficient in using computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

The Senior Automotive Technician will work in an environment that may expose them to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, and various automotive materials. The temperature may vary significantly, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

Physical requirements include:

  • Standing for up to eight hours daily and walking to access different areas.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching regularly.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Effective communication with customers and team members.
  • Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and focus.
