Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist dealership personnel in resolving customer concerns related to service, repairs, and warranties.
  • Service Operations: Oversee the service writers in their daily tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion of repair orders, warranty claims, and sublet invoices.
  • Quality Control: Inspect service writers' desks weekly to ensure compliance with manufacturers' and in-house warranties, policies, and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate completion of invoices and route sheets, and verify that purchase orders are charged to the correct repair order.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee service cashiers in their customer service and cashiering responsibilities, and maintain a high level of cleanliness in the shop and service drive.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in service drive or 5 years of experience in service writing.
  • Understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and service operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, and to keep the service department running smoothly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, technicians, and other staff members.
  • Capability to lead and motivate a team of service advisors and technicians, and to manage performance.
  • Proficiency in software tools used for scheduling, customer management, and repair tracking.
