We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety Program Administrator to join our team at Nooter Construction Company. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation and administration of our company's safety program.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and Update Safety Manuals: Coordinate and participate in an annual review of our safety manuals to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate Safety Training and Testing: Arrange and participate in safety training and testing mandated by our customers, and manage the corresponding invoices.
- Manage Safety Training Files: Maintain accurate and organized files for safety training and testing, including login information for Safety Training Centers.
- Communicate Effectively: Employ positive interpersonal skills when interacting with customers, subcontractors, vendors, craft, and Nooter personnel.
- Employ Organizational Skills: Effectively minimize obstacles that negatively impact projects, and employ sound decision-making/problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires: Receive and process Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, providing required attachments and maintaining accurate files.
- Monitor OSHA Injury/Illness Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records, including the 300 log(s), 301, and 300A, in accordance with EHS Compliance Manager's direction and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Substance Abuse Program: Maintain and manage all aspects of our company's substance abuse program, serving as a key communicator for these consortiums.
- Interface with Customers: Coordinate safety and health efforts with customers' safety departments.
- Process Incident Reports: Receive, log, and enter incoming Incident Reports, forwarding injury reports to the Corporate Safety Director for review and assessment.
- Administer Prescription Safety Glasses Program: Manage the prescription safety glasses program for full-time employees.
- Prepare and Maintain Corporate Safety Files: Prepare and maintain accurate and organized files for corporate safety matters not otherwise classified.
- Run Analytical Reports: Administer log and run analytical reports for safety inspections completed.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Good interpersonal, organizational, communications, and decision-making/problem-solving skills are required.
- Formal Education and Experience: A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience is required.
