Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Supervisor is accountable for the comprehensive management of a Campus Shuttle facility, ensuring efficient and effective oversight of workforce, productivity, quality assurance, and safety protocols as defined by the Campus Operations Division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily reviews of job applicants
  • Facilitate interviews
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels at the location
  • Verify payroll accuracy
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to guarantee proper vehicle upkeep
  • Oversee GPS tracking systems to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Manage drug testing protocols, including random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and pre-employment tests
  • Monitor shuttle services on campus through GPS and direct observation
  • Maintain client relationships by:
    • Participating in customer meetings as necessary
    • Responding promptly to emails, calls, and text messages
    • Addressing and logging customer complaints
    • Preparing reports as required
    • Handling client requests such as re-routing and incident investigations
  • Provide training for staff, including drivers, supervisors, and administrative personnel
  • Manage Human Resources functions, including:
    • Disciplinary actions
    • Performance reviews
    • Termination processes
    • Addressing employee concerns
  • Foster positive employee and employer relations
  • Ensure timely communication by responding to emails, calls, and text messages
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications and Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with other internet tools
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
  • Passing a pre-employment background check
  • Effective communication skills in English
