General merchandise associates are responsible for welcoming customers on the sales floor, assisting them with their needs, and suggesting products based on their preferences. They ensure that displays related to hobbies and home improvement are well-maintained and organized throughout the day. Responsibilities may also include tasks such as paint mixing and fabric cutting.
