Transportation Coordinator for Medical Specimens

The Transportation Courier is a vital member of our team at University Clinical Health, responsible for delivering medical specimens and packages efficiently and safely across various locations. We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to fill this critical role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pick up and transport medical specimens and packages from various healthcare facilities.
  2. Deliver Covid collection kits and specimens to designated locations.
  3. Sort and prepare tissue specimens for gross examination.
  4. Acknowledge and file histology/cytology slides and blocks accurately.
  5. Dispose of tissue specimens regularly.
  6. Collaborate with laboratory staff during frozen section procedures.
  7. Foster effective communication and provide seamless service to clients and physicians.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid TN driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Own vehicle and carry adequate auto insurance.
  • At least one year of experience in Laboratory Courier roles or related fields.
  • High school diploma as a minimum educational requirement.

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 annually.
